OUR MISSION

Our mission is to create concrete demonstrable change in the wealth gap for the Black community in America by investing in capable entrepreneurial operators with great ideas.

We Are X-Factor Capital.

X-Factor Capital is an emerging venture capital firm based in Seattle, Washington. Since our founding, we’ve made it our mission to discover, fund, and work alongside disruptive, early-stage investment opportunities run by devoted, ambitious founders. We’ve partnered with some of the country’s top investors, executives, and institutions to empower exceptional entrepreneurs.

At X-Factor, we don’t just provide experienced advice and guidance. We also help establish the connections and relationships our entrepreneurs need to thrive. When you work with us, our network becomes your network. More importantly, your mission becomes our mission.

Our 3 Pillar Approach

Find

There are outstanding entrepreneurs growing exciting startups all over the country. We work every day to find these talented individuals and help them bring their great ideas to life. In keeping with our overall company philosophy, we always try to seek out innovators who are building solutions to systemic problems or serving communities with which traditional investors might not be familiar.

Fund

We’re thrilled to have capital partners who are proud to invest in entrepreneurs who might otherwise be disregarded, overlooked, or underestimated. We know how important it is to get funding in the early stages, so we seek out people who can develop products and execute customer acquisition. These are men and women who have big ideas and even bigger goals. In fact, we refer to these types of founders as having the “X-Factor” - a combination of talent, scrappiness, vision, and incredible ability to execute.

Fuel

Early-stage founders don’t always know all the “VC lingo,” nor are they familiar with the various nuances of the fundraising environment. We recognize that this is not a reflection of their opportunity, domain expertise, or performance. That’s why we provide them with all the resources they need to succeed.

Here are just some of the ways we’ve supported our entrepreneurs
