X-Factor Capital is a Private Equity firm investing in early stage, post revenue, Black owned businesses. Our offerings include capital funding, increased exposure, connections to some of our corporate partners, and access to our network of advisors.
We partnered with some of the countries top investors and executives to work alongside our portfolio companies. The founders in our portfolio will have financing that’s creative and allows them to keep control of their business. We give advice, as well as connections to support the growth of our companies. We believe capital and experienced advice work together in small business growth.

CEO, Founding Partner
Rodell has over 10 years of experience in launching and coaching small and mid sized businesses. He has developed valuable skills in business strategy, operations, sales, leadership, and human resources through the businesses he launched as well as through corporate roles held at various firms. Rodell is also the Founder, Board member, and Executive Consultant of Ford Sports Performance, a result driven facility that specializes in sports performance training for professional, college, high school, youth athletes and adults. Ford Sports Performance was founded in 2013 and has provided services to professional athletes from; NFL, NBA, and MLS.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, he was an [Independent Distributor] at AdvoCare, a health, wellness, and fitness company achieving millions of dollars in sales and ranked #1 in the region. Before joining AdvoCare, Rodell held various corporate titles including Vice-President of Sales at Compli, a cloud-based compliance manager, General Manager at Nobeltec, a leading b2b SaaS platform, and Sales and Marketing Manager at Toyota.
In addition to X-Factor and his entrepreneurial responsibilities, Rodell serves as a director and co-founder on the Board of ConstructDiversity, a not-for-profit committed to a higher level of racial and gender diversity in the construction industry and related businesses. He is actively involved with Save the Family Foundation of Arizona, not-for-profits dedicated to equipping families to address poverty, overcome homelessness, achieve self -sufficiency, and help youth to reach their full potential. Razor holds a B.A. in business, management, and marketing and an M.B.A from Eastern Oregon University, where he graduated with Honors. He served as the team captain of the Eastern Oregon Football team, to later become the funding coordinator and assistant football coach. He was recently admitted to the University of Stanford Venture Capital Startup Program [VC Unlocked].
Vice President, Founding Partner
Jeremiah has over 15 years of experience in sales marketing, public relations, and talent management. He has held various leadership roles in his entrepreneurial projects, his mandates as consultant or keynote speaker as well as various corporate roles. In addition, he has played a leading role in the firm’s recruiting and training efforts.
As a Co-Founder of X-Factor Consulting Group, Jeremiah has played a key role in motivating employees in large organizations and educating employers to help close the gap between corporate leaders and their diversity and inclusion efforts. During his time with X-Factor he has also heads up the companies sponsorship initiatives where he has paired corporate sponsors with targeted events to showcase their brand.
A career entrepreneur, Jeremiah has been a highly sought out consultant for his recruiting ability of top tier talent across the country specifically his influence in the black community. As a head hunter for top talent and a strategic consultant, Jeremiah has placed dozens of organizations with their ideal candidate.
In 2012, he joined AdvoCare as an [Independent Distributor], a health, wellness and fitness company achieving the companies fastest growing sector in over 20 years. Before joining AdvoCare, Captain held various corporate positions from sales to director of supply chain at TriArc Electric, Cochran Group, and Pacific Lighting Systems where he facilitated management of multiple distribution channels throughout the country.
In addition to his current role, Jeremiah serves as a Director and co-founder on the Board of ConstructDiversity, a not-for-profit committed to bringing a higher level of racial and gender diversity to construction and related businesses and creating awareness of career opportunities to youth. Captain received an associate degree from Laney College and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Psychology from Benedictine College.
